PM Modi Arrives In Netherlands To Deepen Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi arrived in the Netherlands as part of his ongoing five-nation diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening India’s strategic and economic partnerships across Europe and West Asia. During the visit, Mr Modi is expected to hold bilateral talks with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and meet King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima in The Hague.

According to official statements, discussions between the two countries are expected to focus on trade, investment, semiconductors, clean energy, water management, agriculture, defence and emerging technologies. The Netherlands is regarded as one of India’s important partners in Europe, particularly in sectors linked to sustainability and high-tech manufacturing.

The Prime Minister also expressed enthusiasm about interacting with the Indian diaspora during his stay in the country. Analysts believe the visit comes at a significant time as India seeks stronger collaborations with European nations in areas such as semiconductor manufacturing and resilient supply chains.

Mr Modi’s Europe outreach follows his stop in the United Arab Emirates and forms part of India’s broader diplomatic push to deepen international partnerships amid changing global economic and geopolitical conditions.
