Dubai’s DMCC Unveils Cybersecurity Hub as Technology Firms Top 4,000

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has launched DMCC Cyber, a dedicated cybersecurity ecosystem designed to support more than 200 cybersecurity companies, as the number of technology firms operating within the free zone surpasses 4,000.

The launch marks the latest expansion of DMCC’s innovation ecosystem, strengthening its position as one of the region’s fastest-growing technology and business hubs. The new vertical will provide cybersecurity companies access to business networking, specialised infrastructure, industry partnerships, and growth opportunities.

According to DMCC, the platform brings together DMCC Cyber, DMCC Crypto Centre, and DMCC Gaming Centre under a broader technology ecosystem to accelerate innovation across emerging digital industries.

DMCC said its technology district hosts companies operating across artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, gaming, and fintech, reflecting rising demand for advanced digital services in the UAE and the wider region.

DMCC hosts more than 4,000 technology companies, highlighting sustained growth in Dubai’s digital economy and its appeal as a destination for global technology businesses.

Beyond cybersecurity, DMCC is expanding into the space technology sector, focusing on satellite technology, Earth observation, navigation, and space-derived data applications that support logistics, finance, and the agricultural industry.

DMCC said the launch of DMCC Cyber is expected to strengthen collaboration between technology companies, investors, and government stakeholders while reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to become a global hub for digital innovation.
