Amieyra Khoslla Clinches Gold at National Climbing Championship in Bengaluru

Amieyra Khoslla, 14, delivered an outstanding performance to win the gold medal in the Youth Girls (Under-17) category at the 29th National Sport Climbing Championship 2025, demonstrating India’s rapid progress in competitive climbing. The national event was held in Bengaluru in December, bringing together elite young climbers from all over the country.

Amieyra won the bouldering discipline with a total score of 83.8 points, exhibiting incredible strength, precision, and mental focus on all four hard routes. Her ability to remain calm under pressure set her apart from the rest of the field, reflecting advanced technical maturity for her age.

The foundation for her gold medal victory was laid at the qualification round, in which she performed flawlessly. Amieyra received a perfect score of 100 after completing all bouldering obstacles, finishing as a joint top qualifier, and entering the finals as a strong title candidate.

The Indian Mountaineering Foundation organised the championship in partnership with the General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure, which was held at Yavanika in Bengaluru. The competition included speed climbing competitions for people of all ages, in addition to bouldering.
