Dubai Launches PropTech Hub to Support 200 Firms, Create 3,000 Jobs by 2030

The Dubai International Financial Centre Innovation Hub and the Dubai Land Department have inaugurated the Dubai PropTech Hub, the region’s first project aimed at promoting real estate technology. The platform, located in the DIFC Innovation Hub, seeks to support over 200 PropTech start-ups and scale-ups by 2030, creating over 3,000 employment and drawing $300 million in investment.

The hub is intended to bring together developers, technology businesses, regulators, and investors in one innovation-focused district, creating a tech-led real estate ecosystem in Dubai. It will provide customised licensing alternatives, purpose-built workspaces, advanced incubators, venture-building support, and joint pilot programs in a controlled, innovation-friendly environment.

Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, stated that the program puts Dubai as a global leader in real estate innovation, while Omar Hamad BuShehab, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, emphasised its alignment with the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033.

Binghatti, Majid Al Futtaim, Sobha Realty, Union Properties, and Transguard are among the founding partners taking part in pilots of AI-powered smart building and security solutions. The Dubai PropTech Hub seeks to improve openness, accessibility, and technology use in the emirate’s property market.
