Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a series of meetings with international leaders at AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, inviting them to invest in the state and participate in its Global Investors Summit in January 2027.
One of the key meetings was with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan. The two discussed ways to strengthen trade and investment ties between Madhya Pradesh and Tatarstan.
Their talks covered advanced manufacturing, petrochemicals, food processing, engineering, logistics and agriculture. Skill development and innovation-led technologies were also discussed.
Both sides explored partnerships between businesses and governments. They also agreed to organise a bilateral business mission and appoint nodal officers to explore joint projects and improve coordination.
Minnikhanov agreed to attend the Global Investors Summit with a delegation of investors from Tatarstan.
Yadav separately met Ethiopian President Taye Atske Selassie. Their discussions focused on investment opportunities, industrial cooperation and stronger trade ties. The Ethiopian leader was also invited to attend the 2027 summit.
During the congress, Yadav spoke with Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and a member of the UAE Supreme Council. He also met UAE investors and industry representatives to highlight opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh.
A meeting with World Bank Vice President for Digital and AI Sangbu Kim focused on digital expansion, artificial intelligence and digital governance projects. The World Bank delegation expressed interest in providing funding and financial support.
Yadav also outlined the state’s efforts to use AI and digital technology to improve citizen services and create new opportunities for young people.
