PM Modi to Inaugurate Fourth Edition of World Food India 2025 at Bharat Mandapam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the fourth edition of World Food India (WFI) 2025 on September 25 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, says the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The event will continue till September 28 and is being held on a scale never seen before in India’s food processing sector. It is expected to be the greatest gathering of industry stakeholders, spanning 1,00,000 square metres.

Representatives from around 21 countries, 21 Indian states and union territories, 10 central ministries, and five allied government organisations will attend the mega event. Russian Deputy PM Dmitry Patrushev, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Chirag Paswan will attend the inaugural ceremony.

This edition’s partner countries are New Zealand and Saudi Arabia, with Japan, Russia, the UAE, and Vietnam as focal countries. The expo will feature over 1,700 exhibitors, 500 international buyers, and attendees from over 100 countries.

More than 45 educational sessions and related events, including the Global Food Regulators Summit and India International Seafood Show, are scheduled. According to the government, World Food India 2025 would focus on sustainability, food innovation, and global cooperation, establishing India as an investment and growth hub.
