Born and raised in the scenic town of Darjeeling, Ms. Varma dreamt of making a difference in the legal fraternity. She devoted herself to education and secured a gold medal in B.A. LL.B from North Bengal University. To gain additional expertise, she secured a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Laws from the highly acclaimed National Law School, Bangalore. Her intellectual prowess provided her with a foundation for a career established on knowledge, ethics, and professionalism.
Ms. Varma co-established The Indian Lawyer & Allied Services (www.theindianlawyer.in) in 2011 to provide end-to-end legal solutions. Today, the firm has a solid presence across New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. It functions as a one-stop shop for corporate law, arbitration, intellectual property rights, and cross-border legal consultancy. An optimistic leader, she believes that disputes can be resolved through negotiation and out-of-court settlements and resorts to litigation only when unavoidable.
