Union Minister Shri Jitendra Singh congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for completing the IADT-02 test, a crucial milestone in India’s ambitious Gaganyaan Mission.

The test, which is part of the Integrated Air Drop Test series, is aimed at validating crew escapes and recovery systems designed to ensure astronaut safety during space missions. Officials said the successful execution of IADT-02 demonstrates the robustness of critical systems required for human spaceflight.

Shri Jitendra Singh praised ISRO scientists and engineers for their dedication and technological expertise, noting that the achievement brings India closer to sending humans into space under the Gaganyaan programme. He highlighted that such milestones reflect the country’s growing capabilities in advanced space technologies.

The Gaganyaan mission aims to place Indian astronauts in low Earth orbit, marking a significant leap in India’s space exploration journey. The programme has seen steady progress through a series of tests and validations to ensure mission readiness.

The successful completion of IADT-02 is expected to boost confidence in upcoming stages of the mission, reinforcing India’s position as a leading spacefaring nation committed to innovation and scientific advancement.
