The World Green Economy Summit 2026 is set to bring together 135 speakers from governments, businesses and international organisations in Dubai to discuss the expansion of green economic initiatives.
The 12th edition of the summit will take place on October 21 and 22 at Dubai World Trade Centre under the theme “From Success to Scale: Showcasing the Green Economy”. It is being organised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the World Green Economy Organization.
The event will bring together ministers, business leaders, government officials, decision-makers, experts and innovators from around the world. Participants are expected to exchange expertise and examine initiatives that could be expanded to accelerate the transition towards a green economy.
The summit’s agenda will centre on four main areas: energy technology and infrastructure, business strategy and transition, water and food security, and finance. Artificial intelligence, governance and system enablers such as supply chains and the circular economy will also feature as cross-cutting themes.
Organisers said the event is intended to connect governments, businesses and other organisations working on green development, with discussions focused on how technology, investment and policy can support the transition while addressing challenges around resources and economic resilience.
The summit will also examine the role of green finance in attracting investment and supporting climate-related projects, with speakers expected to discuss ways of turning existing green initiatives into models that can be adopted at a larger scale.
