Dubai Unveils the Middle East’s First Integrated Recreational Vehicle Route

Dubai Municipality has unveiled the Middle East’s first fully integrated recreational vehicle route, taking a huge step towards reshaping outdoor tourism in the city. The project proposes a regulated, interconnected network that provides structure to RV travel while opening up new leisure and investment options. The route is designed as a seamless system, connecting purpose-built RV stations, serviced parks, and scenic driving corridors into one accessible travel experience.

Travellers will be able to move seamlessly between Dubai’s deserts, beaches, and mountainous areas, with no logistical gaps or fragmented services. The project aims to foster deeper engagement with nature while offering a safe and comfortable alternative to unplanned outdoor travel.

Dubai Municipality will oversee infrastructure development and establish a clear regulatory framework for RV parks and their operating standards. This model enables private developers to build and manage facilities, thereby supporting the growth of the RV tourism ecosystem. The network is designed to be a year-round attraction for families, first-time RV users, and experienced road travellers. Dining, hospitality, wellness, and entertainment services will be offered with a focus on safety, accessibility, and convenience.

To stimulate sector growth, the municipality will offer incentives, lower land costs, and financial assistance measures.
