MR. PRAKASH A. SULAKHE, DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER OF CAD MECH ENGINEERING PVT. LTD., IS THE PERSONIFICATION OF VISIONARY LEADERSHIP. HE DIRECTS THE ORGANISATION WITH HIS TECHNICAL ACUMEN AND VISION TO IMPROVE INDIA’S EDUCATION AND DEFENCE INDUSTRIES. THROUGH HIS EXTENSIVE TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY, MR. SULAKHE AIMS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR INDIA’S DEVELOPMENT.

Mr. Sulakhe was introduced to the RSS at the age of six, which played a key role in shaping his early years. By the age of 13, he started visiting villages in Beed with full-time party workers to help set up new RSS centres. His early exposure to discipline and service later evolved into a mission to serve his country by generating employment and manufacturing innovative IT products. With a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from P.L. Govt. Polytechnic, Latur, Maharashtra, and several other advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Management from AKTU Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Sulakhe brings 29 years of professional experience. He started his career as an electronics engineer in 1993 and gained extensive experience in manufacturing, testing, and PLC programming. By 1996, he started overseeing integration projects for special-purpose machines at Synergetic, a German-affiliated company, where he demonstrated his skills in complex engineering solutions.
REIMAGINING TECH EDUCATION
In 2001, Mr. Sulakhe joined hands with V-Ramp Systems to meet the growing needs of India’s education sector. His strong technical skills and market awareness helped him design advanced lab setups in Mechatronics, CAD/CAM, and Robotics Automation. Noticing the need for affordable, high-quality equipment, he introduced import-substitute solutions like CIM/FMS and Modular Manufacturing systems, which greatly improved engineering education in India’s polytechnic colleges and ITIs. In 2007, he launched Sinewave Engineering Pvt. Ltd. by teaming up with B.J. Engineering Works. The company, dedicated to training future engineers, quickly became one of the top two education lab companies in India. In 2012, the leader established “CAD Mech Engineering Private Limited,” which is one of the leading manufacturers & exporters of CNC Trainer Lathe Machine today. The company caters to the education sector and boasts expertise in manufacturing equipment that seamlessly blends into the large infrastructure universities need to build in alignment with the AICTE and UGC norms. Through CAD MECH, he aims to provide true value through smart engineering, strong support, and consistent quality.
DONNING MULTIPLE HATS
In addition to his roles as Director of Sinewave and CAD Mech Engineering, Mr. Sulakhe is a partner in Tek Sure Mechatronix and the sole distributor in India for U.S. firms POCKET NC and WAZER. Over the years, the versatile leader has authored nine research papers and has been featured on the cover page of Industry Outlook as well as in over 200 news portals. These achievements speak volumes about his dedication and influence in the industry. With a strategic and unwavering focus on vendor development and relationship building, he consistently drives sustainable growth across his business ventures. Mr. Sulakhe is married to Mrs. Ulka Beedkar, who runs an education academy in Dhayari, Pune (Maharashtra). The couple has two children, both studying engineering in mechanical and robotics automation.
