Kashmir’s Owais Yaqoob delivered a dominant performance at BRAVE CF 107, defeating previously undefeated Bulgarian fighter Delyan Georgiev by first-round technical knockout (TKO) in Bulgaria on August 1. The victory improved his professional MMA tally to 6-1.
The Kashmir MMA fighter’s win came after Yaqoob controlled the contest from the opening bell. He overwhelmed Georgiev with a barrage of unanswered strikes, forcing the referee to stop the fight in the first round.
Hailing from Pulwama in south Kashmir, Owais Yaqoob has steadily emerged as one of India’s brightest mixed martial arts prospects.
