India will host the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championships 2027 in New Delhi, a key qualifying event for shooting at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) announced on Tuesday. The championships will be held from December 1 to 10 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges and will offer eight continental quota places for LA 2028. The Sports Ministry is keen to bring Formula 1 back to the Buddh International Circuit in the near future and has initiated discussions to revive the iconic track.
