The United Arab Emirates national snooker team secured the gold medal in the team competition at the 4th Gulf Games being held in Doha, Qatar. The UAE side defeated hosts Qatar in the final to finish at the top of the standings and add another major achievement to the country’s sporting record.
The gold medal-winning UAE squad featured Mohammed Shehab, Khaled Al Kamali, and Abdulrahman Al Shamsi. The trio produced a strong performance throughout the tournament before overcoming the Qatari team in the decisive encounter. Qatar finished with the silver medal following the closely contested final.
