UAE to Host First-Ever UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit in Dubai on October 27

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism has announced that Dubai will host the first UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit on October 27, 2025. The event will be held as part of the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS World 2025), a premier platform that brings together worldwide leaders in tourism, hospitality, and investment.

The Summit aims to promote bilateral relations between the UAE and African nations by encouraging mutual investment, particularly in tourism, hospitality, and related industries. The Ministry of Economy and Tourism signed an MoU with The Bench, the organisers of FHS World. H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, was present for the signing. The agreement, signed by H.E. Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry, and Daria Smith, Portfolio Director at The Bench, ensures cooperation in event management and promotion.

Over 250 senior participants are expected, including ministers, government officials, decision-makers, and investors from 53 African countries. The Summit’s goal is to highlight investment opportunities, create dialogue, and inspire collaboration across the tourism, infrastructure, and hospitality sectors.

Officials claimed that the effort is consistent with the “We the UAE 2031” vision.
