Thailand has launched a new digital tourism campaign, “Tiew Tua Thai Suk Kan Yai Wai Jai Grab” (“Explore Thailand, Enjoy More, Trust Grab”), in collaboration with Grab. This plan intends to increase domestic and international tourism by encompassing 55 provinces across the country.
The campaign leverages Grab’s digital ecosystem, which encompasses ride-hailing, meal delivery, and personalised travel experiences, making travel more convenient and seamless. The promotion incentivises visits to both major sites and undiscovered treasures by offering discounts through promo codes such as “AMAZING25” until December, encouraging tourists to stay longer and explore more places.
In addition to encouraging tourism, the effort helps local economies by highlighting traditional crafts and regional specialities, with the goal of more evenly distributing tourism advantages. It focuses on sustainable tourism practices and invites guests to see Thailand’s rich cultural heritage while enjoying modern amenities. The collaboration supports Thailand’s goal of promoting smart transportation and portrays the country as a technologically advanced, tourist-friendly destination.
Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), expressed confidence that the collaboration would renew the tourism sector and have long-term positive effects on communities across the country, making Thailand an even more appealing and accessible destination.
