Sarvam AI positions itself as India’s full stack sovereign AI platform. It offers a suite of artificial intelligence solutions built entirely on domestic compute infrastructure. The platform supports speech to text, text to speech, translation, document digitisation, multilingual dubbing, and conversational AI across Indian languages. It has processed more than 10 billion tokens. It also delivers a median latency below 100 milliseconds and a 99.9% uptime service level agreement.
The company recently introduced Sarvam Circle. It is also showcasing its latest innovations at the Sarvam Epoch 2026 event.
Sarvam AI is among the 12 organisations selected under the Innovation Centre pillar of the IndiaAI Mission. It is receiving financial and compute support worth ₹246.72 crore to develop indigenous foundational AI models. At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Union Minister Amit Shah highlighted the company as an example of India’s growing leadership in artificial intelligence.
Its core AI models include Bulbul, a text-to-speech model supporting 11 Indian languages and 39 voices. Saaras is a speech-to-text model covering all 22 scheduled Indian languages. Vision is designed for multilingual document understanding, including handwritten text.
Sarvam AI also offers products across conversational AI, enterprise productivity, multilingual content creation, and on-device AI. The platform has partnered with UIDAI for Aadhaar voice services and fraud detection. It has also partnered with the Odisha government for a Sovereign AI Capacity Hub. Another partnership is with the Tamil Nadu government and IIT Madras for the Digital Sangam AI Research Park. Enterprise customers include Tata Capital, SBI Life, Axis Bank, and Infosys.
