Indian Cricketer Hardik Pandya has reclaimed the top position in the ICC T20I latest Men’s Batting Rankings after rising two places, as per a report released on Wednesday.
It is the second time when Pandya is at the top of this list in the ongoing year after India’s T20 World Cup victory in the USA against West Indies in June.
Hardik Pandya had a great score batting and bowling in the Indian men’s cricket team’s match against Bangladesh at home last month, winning the match by 3-0. After this, he was adjudged as the player of the series with 118 runs and one wicket. His contribution was immense at critical stages when India needed him the most.
Hardik’s all-rounder performance was great even during India’s match against South Africa earlier this month, securing the winning title with 3-1.
Hardik Pandya’s performances propelled him to the top of the T20I all-rounder rankings, surpassing England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee.
In the meantime, Tilak Verma went up by 69 places to capture the third spot in the T20 batting rankings. He was player of the Series in South Africa after scoring 280 runs in four matches, including two centuries.
In the batting ranking, Travis Head from Australia and Phil Salt from Englast are ahead of Varma.
