Rubina Francis became India’s first woman to win a pistol medal, claiming bronze in the 10m air pistol SH, while Kapil Parmar won bronze in the 60kg J1 category, giving India its first para-judo medal.

Harvinder Singh became the first Indian archer to earn a Paralympic gold medal, while Dharambir won India’s first club throw gold medal, alongside Pranav Soorma, who finished second. Sumit Antil successfully defended his javelin gold medal in the F64 division, setting two new Paralympic marks.
