SUSTAINABILITY AND ECO-AWARENESS
The college has initiated a unique and highly successful experiment through the ‘Green Waves Club.’ The club is centered around several important objectives. First, it focuses on cultivating organic vegetables to source all produce for the canteen from these sustainable, organic crops. This initiative has received great feedback from students and has proven successful. Additionally, the club works to raise social awareness about national environmental issues. It organizes tree plantation drives, planting specific species to improve biodiversity across the lush campus. As part of this effort, every student is encouraged to plant a tree, contributing to the college’s green initiatives. Moreover, the college is committed to reducing plastic use and promoting eco-friendly alternatives. Their next student-led initiative focuses on creating compost fertilizer to further support sustainable practices, making sure that students of today become holistic leaders of tomorrow.
