PM Modi Launches Major Development Projects in MP’s Dhar on 75th Birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development projects in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, to commemorate his 75th birthday. He paid his respects to Goddess Vagdevi at the historic Bhojshala and lauded artisans and craftsmen for their contributions to nation-building.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi recalled Dhar’s historical legacy, praising Maharaja Bhoj’s courage and Maharshi Dadhichi’s sacrifice as guiding lights for service to the nation. He commemorated Hyderabad Liberation Day, stating that on this day, the Indian Army freed Hyderabad, connecting the territory with India and restoring national pride.

The PM launched the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ campaign, which focuses on providing free health screening for women for conditions including diabetes, blood pressure, anaemia, tuberculosis, and cancer. He also launched the eighth National Nutrition Month, noting the disbursement of approximately ₹19,000 crore through the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.

PM Modi inaugurated PM MITRA Park, India’s largest integrated textile park spread across 1,300 acres. The complex is estimated to create three lakh jobs and attract investments of ₹23,140 crore. He also established the Adi Seva Parv for tribal development and encouraged citizens to buy Indian-made items, noting reduced GST rates beginning September 22.
