Praveenar Singh Wins Miss Universe Thailand 2025, to Compete on Global Stage

Praveenar “Veena” Singh of Saraburi was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2025, gaining the right to represent the country in the future Miss Universe pageant. The competition’s finale was held in MGI Hall in Bravo BKK. The evening opened with a powerful dance performance, after which the field was reduced to twenty finalists and numerous special awards were given.

Praveenar Singh was declared the winner, with Praewwanich “Praew” Ruangthong of Bangkok taking first place, and Narumon “Dale” Pimpakdee of Phuket placed second runner-up.

Praveenar was born on April 16, 1996, in Chiang Mai and later moved to Yala. She finished secondary education at Satriyala Education and has a bachelor’s degree in Russian from Thammasat University’s Faculty of Liberal Arts. In 2021, the Indian Consulate in Chiang Mai gave her overseas Indian citizenship.

She married Thai-Indian businessman Hanchareon Singthakwal in February 2022, but they divorced in 2024. Before this achievement, she was the second runner-up in Miss Universe Thailand 2018, the first runner-up in 2020, and the second runner-up in 2023, all representing Phuket. In 2025, she competed as Miss Universe Saraburi and eventually won the national crown.
