Bangkok Crowned World’s Top Digital Nomad Destination for 2025

Bangkok has been named the world’s number one destination for digital nomads in 2025, according to a survey conducted by HotelWithTub. The announcement was made by Aekvarunyoo Amrapala, spokesperson for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

The ranking evaluated over 1,300 cities worldwide, assessing factors such as cost of living, quality of life, safety, and social media popularity. Bangkok achieved a score of 91 out of 100 and a satisfaction rating of 4.55 out of 5 from digital nomads, ranking it first among 100 global destinations.

Nakhon Ratchasima, popularly known as Korat, ranked fifth on the same list, demonstrating Thailand’s growing attraction to the remote working population. Bangkok’s affordability, reliable internet, convenient transportation, and vibrant cultural scene all contribute considerably to its popularity. The city provides a solid work atmosphere that is supported by a diverse choice of co-working spaces, from high-end offices to casual cafes.

Aekvarunyoo stated that this recognition not only attracts global remote workers but also demonstrates Bangkok’s ability to support both outstanding work and a pleasant lifestyle. The BMA remains committed to the city’s development through its nine guiding policies and projects, which match with Governor Chadchart Sittipunt’s vision of making Bangkok a livable city for all.
