Mumbai honoured cricket legends for their extraordinary accomplishments at the 26th CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards. This esteemed occasion recognises outstanding achievements in domestic and international cricket.
The Chairman of RPG Group, Harsh Goenka, took delight in the awards’ history and emphasised how they honour cricketers all over the world for their commitment to quality and hard work. The CEAT Cricket Ratings Chief Adjudicator, Sunil Gavaskar, commended this year’s winners for establishing high standards for coming generations.
The CEAT Men’s International Cricketer of the Year award went to Rohit Sharma in recognition of his diligence and hard work. In addition, Tim Southee was named Men’s T20I Bowler of the Year, Phil Salt was named Men’s T20I Batter of the Year, and Shreyas Iyer was honoured for Outstanding Leadership in the IPL.
Men’s ODI Bowler of the Year went to Mohammed Shami, while Men’s ODI Batter of the Year went to Virat Kohli.
Men’s Test Batter and Bowler of the Year were Yashashvi Jaiswal and Ravichandran Ashwin, respectively. Rahul Dravid was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to cricket as the celebration came to a close.
