Both leaders emphasised the importance of long-term regional stability, with a focus on increased integration among neighbouring nations.
Blinken then met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. Their talks focused on Gaza’s post-conflict security and governance, as well as reconstruction activities. They looked for diplomatic measures to allow displaced Israeli and Lebanese people to return safely to their homes. These conversations followed Blinken’s previous trip to Israel, where he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials.
