PM Modi completes 12 years in office; BJP, Union ministers hail his leadership

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi completed 12 years in office, marking a significant political milestone for the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre. BJP leaders, Union ministers and party workers across the country hailed Modi’s leadership and highlighted the government’s achievements in governance, infrastructure, foreign policy and welfare initiatives during the period.

Senior BJP leaders described the past twelve years as transformative for India, pointing to flagship schemes such as Digital India, Make in India, PM Gati Shakti, Ayushman Bharat and the expansion of direct benefit transfer programmes. Union ministers credited Modi with strengthening India’s global image and improving economic and technological capabilities.

Party leaders also emphasised the government’s focus on infrastructure development, including highways, airports, railways and renewable energy projects. BJP spokespersons said the Modi administration had brought political stability and accelerated policy implementation across sectors.

Celebrations and outreach programmes were organised in several states to mark the occasion. BJP workers shared achievements of the government through public campaigns and social media initiatives. Political observers noted that Modi remains the BJP’s central electoral figure ahead of upcoming state elections and future national campaigns.

The completion of twelve years in office places Shri Narendra Modi among India’s longest-serving prime ministers in independent India’s political history.
