Jyothi Yarraji, Tejas Shirse Strike Gold at National Inter-State Athletics Championships

Indian athletes Jyothi Yarraji and Tejas Shirse delivered impressive performances at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships in Panchkula, winning gold medals in their respective hurdle events and boosting their chances to participate in the Paris Olympics through world rankings.

Jyothi Yarraji clinched the gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles after clocking 13.06 seconds, continuing her strong run in national athletics competitions. In the men’s 110m hurdles event, Tejas Shirse secured gold with a timing of 13.54 seconds.

Both athletes are currently among India’s leading hurdlers, and their latest performances are expected to improve their world ranking, which plays a crucial role in Olympic qualification.
