A 60-person Indian contingent demonstrated its strength and discipline at the Kudo Japanese Mixed Combat Sports World Cup in Burgas, Bulgaria. The Indian squad competed with commitment and spirit, up against nearly 500 competitors from 30 countries. The squad was led by Kudo India Chairman and actor Shihan Akshay Kumar, with Hanshi Mehul Vora and Renshi Vispy Kharadi serving as Head Coaches. Indian athletes performed outstandingly, winning many medals and gaining international fame.
Rudrani Patel of Rajasthan and Pema Thakur of Himachal Pradesh received gold medals for exhibiting excellent skill in their respective categories. Silver medals were won by Manasvi Madhukar Kamble of Maharashtra, Aaradhya Rao, Nakul Grover, and Dilip Patel of Rajasthan, Priya Kumari Thapa of Himachal Pradesh, Zidaan Vispy Kharadi of Gujarat, and Sohail Khan of Madhya Pradesh. Babu Lal Chaudhary and Ananya Vaishnav from Rajasthan won bronze medals, and Anshu Kumari from Haryana.
The strong performance highlights India’s increasing expertise and interest in Kudo as a combat sport. It also displays the meticulous training and unwavering support of the Kudo India Federation. The event represented a proud occasion for Indian combat sports on a global scale.
