Dubai Invite Campaign Boosts Tourism With Strong Early Demand

Dubai’s newly launched Dubai Invite tourism incentive programme received more than 10,000 applications within its first 48 hours, prompting the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) to review the limit on the number of reward packages available.

Speaking to Dubai Eye’s Business Breakfast, Noor Algeziry, Associate Vice President, MENA & Special Projects at DET, said the initiative had received an overwhelming response since its launch, exceeding initial expectations.

The programme offers UAE citizens and residents reward packages worth more than AED3,000 for inviting family members or friends living overseas to visit Dubai. The campaign is part of the emirate’s broader tourism strategy to boost visitor arrivals during the summer and autumn travel season.

Eligible visitors must arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, while residents can earn up to three reward packages during the campaign. The benefits cover accommodation, dining, attractions and transport through participating partners, including W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Careem and Hala.

Residents aged 18 and above with a valid Emirates ID can nominate eligible visitors through the official online portal before their arrival. Once a visitor’s entry is verified through Dubai’s border systems, reward packages will be issued by email within 72 hours.

The campaign builds on Dubai’s tourism growth, with the emirate welcoming 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025, a 5% increase from the previous year. Running alongside Dubai Summer Surprises 2026, the initiative aims to encourage residents to help attract more international visitors while supporting spending across the tourism and hospitality sectors.
